Year Two Enjoyed Their Lone Pine Visit |
What a fantastic day we all had on our excursion to Lone Pine! The children took part in information sessions about koalas, Tasmanian devils and a very hands-on look at a variety of reptiles. The day was a wonderful success and I wish to commend all the children on their fantastic behaviour and well thought out questions.

This week the students from 1W, along with children from 1MP and Year Two had a chance to see all the Australian animals we've been learning about when we went to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary.
We had a chance to get up close to many animals, and were able to pat a koala, kangaroo, blue tongue lizard, turtle and snake!
It was fantastic to be able to observe the animals so closely after working so hard learning about them this term.

Prep 1 Reflect On Their First Year Of School |
As the year rapidly draws to a close the Prep One children have been reflecting on their time as preppies as they eagerly look forward to the transition into Year One in 2010.
