Dear Parents and Caregivers welcome back to the 2021 school year
Parents and caregivers will be welcome back on site on the first day of school Wednesday 27th January, so you can drop your children off at their classrooms.
We ask that the social distancing of 1.5 metres be adhered to on school grounds. Once children are dropped off at school, we ask that parents leave the school grounds (especially once the school day has commenced) as soon as possible.
The Prep to Year 2 students start at 8:15am and finish at 2:15pm. The 3 to 6 classes start at 8:30am and finish at 2:30pm.
We will be continue locking our gates during the school day.
Gates will be closed from 8:40am and reopen at 2:15pm.
This helps limit the flow of people through the school and it has proved to be a very good safety measure, ensuring not just anyone can enter the school grounds at anytime throughout the day.
We understand that parents will need to collect their child/ren at times during the school day and we ask that like last year, you call the office on 3727 4222, so that the office staff are aware of your arrival and will be ready to open the pedestrian gate near the pick up drop off zone when you arrive.
We are happy to announce that parent helpers are welcome back into classrooms but this needs to be arranged with your child's class teacher. This can only happen if parents and caregivers complete the online induction/volunteer module, located on the front page of our school website Pallara SS website
Our staff are very excited to see all students return to school and hope 2021 will be a rewarding and memorable time for us all.
