Joining the program

If you are a new family, or would like to join the program, there are a number of steps that need to be followed. Following these steps ensures that you are well informed of the requirements and expectations around taking part in the program. 

Step 1

Attend a parent information session about the BYOD program. To be informed of how the program works and the student/parent responsibilities. Information about the purchasing of a laptop that meets the minimum requirements for our network is also discussed. The date of these sessions can found on the term calendar. 

Step 2

Sign a User Agreement form - Pallara State School BYOD Charter.

Step 3

Purchase a computer that meets the minimum specification in order to be connected to the schools network (Please note that we will not be using iOS or Android tables as part of our BYOC program).
