The contruction of the new campus is in full swing. See it being constructed below!

Background:

●The Pallara community’s population has been growing with many new homes being built and families moving to the area.

●Pallara State School’s in-catchment student population has grown rapidly and the school’s grounds are not large enough to cater for the student demand.

●The Department of Education, together with Pallara State School and the P&C, explored many options with two options undergoing community consultation.

After extensive consultation, it was agreed to have Prep to Year 1 (P–1) campus students located at the former Pallara State School site, and Years 2 to 6 at the current Pallara State School.

The P–1 campus will be like a brand new school with new or greatly refurbished facilities.

  • A drop-off/pick-up zone with 4 pick-up bays and queuing space inside the school grounds.
  • Covered bike storage area.
  • The existing bus stop at the front of the new school campus will be extended
  • to provide capacity for two buses.
