Pallara Tuckshop

The Pallara tuckshop is run by the school P&C Association, and currently operates Wednesday to Friday. In 2020 the tuckshop will be opening at both first and second breaks for the first time.

How to order

All meal orders are to be completed online through Qkr!, with some snack items, such as iceblocks, muffins and chips, available for purchase over the counter with cash at second break only.

The QKR! app is available for download for both iOS and Android, or orders can be placed using the Qkr! website - https://qkr.mastercard.com/store/  and search for "Pallara State School".

8.30am is the cut off time for orders each day and late orders will not be accepted. Please note you can order 2 weeks in advance.

Order Cancellations / Sickness

If you need to cancel an order due to child illness or change of circumstance, you must cancel the order in Qkr! before the cut off time of 8.30AM. Qkr! will provide credit to your account for your next order. The P&C is unable to cancel or edit orders either before or after the cut off time – it must be done by the account holder.

Volunteering in the Tuckshop

The ongoing success and viability of the tuckshop relies on volunteers, so if you can spare a few hours to help in the tuckshop, please drop into the tuckshop to see Trish or send her an email at  pallara.tuckshop@gmail.com and she will get back to you as soon as possible.

Contacting the Tuckshop

Due to the nature of the job, the best way to contact our convenor, Trish, is via email (pallara.tuckshop@gmail.com) . Please be mindful that Trish only works Wed-Fri, and spends the majority of her hours (eg. from 8:30-1:00pm) in the kitchen and away from the computer, so she will reply to emails as soon as practically possible but there will be delays. Trish can also be reached by phoning the school, however please be mindful that phonecalls can be difficult during these peak service times, as it can impact on service delivery, so she may need to return your phonecall outside of peak delivery times.
