As part of the department’s planning for growth at Pallara SS a new learning centre of 21 learning spaces, including four Prep spaces, is being delivered.
Infrastructure and Regional Office representatives met with members of the School Council, the Pallara SS school principal and school Business Manager at Pallara SS on Thursday 27 April 2023.
Departmental representatives provided an update on delivery of the new learning centre. The department advised that there are project matters being addressed, in particular in relation to provision of car parking, that have delayed the project. The project is forecast to be complete later in 2024.
Acknowledging the enrolment growth at Pallara SS, additional hire spaces will be provided until the new learning centre is complete. It is intended that these spaces will be installed before the end of 2023 to support student transition between the 2023 and 2024 school year.
