Back to School Boost 2026
In 2026, every Queensland primary school student will receive a $100 Back to School Boost from the Queensland Government to help with school costs.
Please note we understand how receiving an adjustment note and invoice while seeing a balance owing in QParents would be confusing.
Please be aware the application of the Back to School Boost is a manual process that the school manages internally and with 1400 students this will take a bit of time to process. The temporary balance currently showing in QParents reflects this processing stage and does not mean that payment is required from you at this time.
As you have already opted to use the boost to offset the SRS, no further action is required from you. Once the manual adjustments are finalised, your account will be updated accordingly.
However if you have chosen not to use the $100.00 for your child/ren SRS full payment is required as per the invoice sent.
