Back to School Boost 2026

In 2026, every Queensland primary school student will receive a $100 Back to School Boost from the Queensland Government to help with school costs.

At Pallara State School, our 2026 Student Resource Scheme (SRS) fee is $100, which covers core learning materials, curriculum programs, in-class software support and various subscriptions used throughout the year. Families can choose to use the $100 boost to fully cover this cost.

A survey has been sent out asking how you would like your child’s $100 boost to be used.

Select Yes if you would like the $100 credit to be applied directly to your child’s 2026 SRS fee.

Select No if you prefer the $100 to remain in your child’s school account for future activities such as excursions or events.

This survey will close on 1 February 2026, and actions will be taken based on your response.

The $100 credit cannot be used for pre-existing debts and/or invoices that relate to 2025 or earlier or:

  • paid as cash, issued as a voucher, or as a reimbursement for purchases made directly by parents with external suppliers
  • paid as cash to refund a parent for a payment already made to the school
  • transferred to another student’s account.

Invoices will be sent out in term 1.

If you select YES to use the $100.00 school boost there will be no action required by you once you receive the invoice, its simply to offset the SRS payment.

If you select NO not to use the $100.00 school boost for SRS you will be required to pay the $100.00 SRS invoice via QParents or BPoint. You will be contacted throughout the year on how you want this $100.00 to applied to school events etc.
